Jurimex lawyers represented a large Ukrainian goods and services market monopolist in a number of disputes on collecting debts for a total amount UAH 62.7 mln ($12.54 mln).
The client had for many years been failing to obtain positive decisions in similar disputes as it was very difficult to prove the amount of the debt and clarify the confused legal relations.
Our lawyers organised the work of separate client’s departments and services which enabled to collect the documents confirming supplies of goods and services provision for mullions of hryvnias. They also were able to find the efficient legal solutions which allowed proving that client’s claims.
The court satisfied the client’s claims for the amount totalling to UAH 51.6 mln. ($10.32 mln) and the remaining UAH 11.1 mln. ($2.22 mln) were recovered under amicable agreements. The client’s claims were also confirmed by the Supreme Economic Court and the Supreme Court of Ukraine where the client was represented by our lawyers.
The court decision enabled the client to have the debt repaid in full.
