Trademark and trade name protection case

Jurimex lawyers represented Ukrainian network radio station in the dispute related to trademark and trade name protection.

Due to Jurimex lawyers’ efforts the court protected the client’s rights and by the decisions of the Court of Appeals, Supreme Economic Court and Supreme Court of Ukraine prohibited the defendant from using the trademarks owned by the client.

The National Television and Broadcasting Council of Ukraine (the state body licensing television and broadcasting activities) used the results of the legal investigation and the documents prepared by Jurimex lawyers to make a decision obliging the infringer to amend the current broadcasting licence as regards to the radio call signs.
