Jurimex joined membership with the Legal, Statutes and Members Committee of the European State Lotteries and Toto Association

Jurimex Law Firm entered the Legal, Statutes and Members Committee of the European Lotteries and Toto Association (AELTE), and became the first and so far the only law firm to represent Eastern Europe in the organization. The remarkable expertise of Danylo Getmantsev, Jurimex Honorary President, in the area of gambling law in the CIS countries was highly regarded by the European state lottery operators, members of the Association, while forming regulatory bodies of the organization.

Danylo Getmantsev stated: “Collaboration with the European State Lotteries and Toto Association will contribute to the sustainable development of legal support for gambling in Ukraine. World gambling business has a specific character and is, as a rule, regulated and controlled at the state level. Most European countries have monopolized this industry and signed the monopoly into law, while Ukraine still lacks public debate on the future of gambling market. Our state legislation lacks experts aware of the European and world experience”. Jurimex top manager also expressed the hope that the membership in the AELTE would help the law firm enhance relevant industry knowledge and gain additional experience.
